About the project

Intercultural Training: Interactive ICT Tools for Entrepreneurs

INTERACT is a multilateral GRUNDTVIG Project and part of Life Long Learning program. Grundtvig has several priorities:

  • Increasing effectiveness of adult education programs and other educational pathways

  • Promoting intercultural dialogue; 2008 has been announced the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue

Interact reaches out to meet some of these priorities of European education. The Project is designed to improve the ability of European entrepreneurs to work across borders and in multicultural environment of their own countries. It is aimed to promote access to ICT and multimedia tools by tailoring software to ICC content and to the busy lifestyle of businessmen. The project involves 6 partners from five countries and lasts for two years from December 2007 – November, 2009. The approved total budget of the project is EUR 399 996. An EU grant of EUR 299, 997 has been awarded for the action.

Interact goals

  • Promote ICC awareness and ICC skills among entrepreneurs improving their ability to work in multicultural environment both in their own countries and across the borders.

  • Promote open learning environment and ICT skills of entrepreneurs

  • Improve the ability to work in multicultural environment
